When Habitat for Humanity’s Restore was preparing to relocate across town, we recognized the need for a strategic, multi-phase approach. Clanin Creative guided customers through the store’s closure, promoted the new location, and engaged the local community to shop and donate, ensuring Restore’s mission continued seamlessly.

By communicating with customers across a variety of platforms including social media, interior messaging, direct mailers, and digital advertising, we were able to inform the community about Restore’s exciting new location and keep their steady supply of donations and purchases rolling in.

Applying
The Brand

Leveraging Habitat for Humanity’s established brand, we utilized their vibrant greens and blues to design graphics for both print and digital platforms, along with ads distributed across Champaign-Urbana. Paired with custom photography by Clanin, we ensured their brand remained clear, consistent, and visually engaging.

The Move

A key driver behind this move was Habitat’s opportunity to own their own space instead of renting, aligning perfectly with their mission of helping others achieve homeownership. Understanding the importance of conveying this to the community, we crafted the tagline “A Home of Our Own.”

New Store, Same Goal

New Store, Same Goal

After the move, Clanin conducted another photoshoot in the new store to reassure customers they’d still be greeted by the same friendly faces in a fresh setting. By showcasing the larger store floor, brighter atmosphere, and more accessible donation area, we emphasized that while the address had changed, Habitat’s dedication to their mission remained as strong as ever.
